Wool/Silk nursing pads

Lovely and indispensable nursing pads in the softest merino wool and silke mix. The wool pads help to keep the chest warm and reduce the risk of mastitis and milk lumps. Wool has the property that it is heat-regulated and fluid-transporting. In this way, a wool pad also helps to keep the chest dry and reduces the risk of fungus. The wool pad can be used alone or placed between the breast and a disposable absorbent pad. In this way, you utilize the important properties of the wool at the same time that you do not have to wash the wool pads unnecessarily. The wool ursing pads can be used again and again which is good for the environment DAILY MAINTENANCE Dry in a warm place, then scrape off the milk. FOR BREAST INFECTIONS After each use, sterilise the breast pads for 3 minutes in the microwave for full effect. WASHING WOOL BREAST PADS Soak the breast pads in lukewarm water with a tablespoon of lanolin soap, or wash on a wool cycle. Squeeze out the water into a towel and shake the pads, then leave them to dry in a warm place. Always avoid detergents with enzymes when washing wool products. The inserts are available in 2 sizes, M and L, and cover more of the chest than many other nursing pads. M 13 cm. L 18 cm.
